Quilt Group in the Neighborhood

We were at stake Lagoon Day and I was chatting with Ann Hronek and she suggested that we start a quilt group.  I was in!  That sounded fun and I was looking for a reason to quilt more.   I had quilt group at my house the first time.  I had started this bear paw quilt and I put it on frames and everyone helped with the hand quilting.  You can tell from the photo that my skills weren't very advanced at the time.

I finished it up, bound it and was happy with it but didn't really use it, I just looked at it.  The first time I washed it, the red blocks bled into the white and it was pretty ruined.  Years later, I found Synthropol that would take out the bleed and used that to fix it.
